As spring makes its arrival, there’s something about this season that just calls for a fresh burst of color in our homes. We recently collaborated with a talented local florist named Avril to bring that splash of vibrancy to life. Together, we crafted stunning floral displays inside our Newlyn, Hepworth, and Flora planters, capturing the very essence of spring.

Avril is not only a gifted florist but also a passionate gardener with a keen eye for design. Her studio in Shropshire became the perfect backdrop for us to partner with her as she meticulously selected elements to perfectly match the form and finish of each planter. Starting with our Marine 316 Stainless Steel Newlyn pots, Avril chose tall, slender Narcissus flowers paired with textured green fir to highlight the symmetrical design and tapered base of these pots. Shades of green and pale yellow were chosen to harmonize beautifully with the cool undertones of both the Satin and Polished Marine 316 Stainless Steel finishes.

When it came to styling our curved Hepworth pots, Avril opted for larger, more dramatic pieces. Inside our 28cm Satin Stainless Steel Hepworth planter, she placed a deep green Camellia plant adorned with bright pink blooms, creating a striking contrast against the matte surface of the Satin Stainless Steel.

In the smaller Hepworth pots, Avril used a mix of purple and white Hyacinths topped off with a layer of moss to protect the arrangements. This color palette blended wonderfully with our Polished Stainless Steel Hepworth pots, which reflect their surroundings with a deep, mirrored shine.

Our Flora planters share the same reflective properties in Smooth Brass, Copper, and Nickel finishes. For our Smooth Copper Flora planters, Avril went for bold and bright florals to enhance the warm undertones of the copper. This gave the arrangements a lively and cheerful vibe, adding instant energy to any space.

Avril also experimented with cascading bouquets that drape elegantly over the scalloped edges of our Flora planters. For the slimmer Flora vases, she played around with long, curved branches connected to pearlescent seed pods. The iridescent nature of these seed pods combined with the gleam of our Smooth Brass Flora vase created a captivating centerpiece, perfect for making a bold statement in any room.

For the larger Marine Stainless Steel Flora planters, Avril used giant dried seed pods intertwined with delicate purple flowers, all secured within our Satin Stainless Steel Flora pots. The result was an impressive floral exhibition that truly stood out.
