The initial heat consumption of the rated power is 7777.56 kJ/kWh, which is far superior to the operating heat consumption of 8187 kJ/kWh before the unit transformation. After the completion of the transformation, the heat consumption of the unit decreased by 409.44 kJ/kWh, and the coal consumption rate of the converted power supply decreased by about 13.99 g/kWh. The unit is a heating unit. The heating pressure before the transformation is 0.8 MPa. At this stage, the heating pressure of the unit is reduced to 0.55 MPa. The cycle efficiency of the unit is low and the heat consumption value is too high. It does not meet the requirements of national energy conservation and emission reduction, and the unit transformation is imminent.

Harbin Automobile Company actively responded to the national green environmental protection strategy and undertook the transformation task of the two 800,000 kW supercritical unit steam turbines of Jizhong Power Plant. During the technical optimization process of the Yuzhong renovation project, a number of innovations were applied around improving the flow efficiency. Advanced technology such as medium-pressure rotor cooling, hydraulic bolts and pre-twisted blades are used to provide a powerful guarantee for improving the performance and indicators of the unit. Coal consumption is reduced by 25.56 g / kWh, saving 127,500 tons of standard coal per year. According to calculations, the two retrofit units can save about 128.5 million yuan for the Suizhong Power Plant.

By replacing the "Chinese core" with the old Russian-made units that have been in service for 14 years, Harbin has achieved the goals of energy saving, emission reduction, optimization and upgrading, and capacity expansion, and created a clean and efficient use of coal through the technical transformation of large-scale units in active service.
