The principle of the liquid level sensor

A liquid level sensor is designed with a float (1), a magnet (2), a bracket (3), a linear output Hall element sensor (4), and an amplifying circuit. The Hall element sensor is positioned at the upper part of the bracket, while the magnet is placed beneath it and is connected to the float. This configuration ensures that as the float moves with the liquid level, the magnet's position changes, affecting the magnetic field sensed by the Hall element. The signal from the Hall element is then amplified and sent to a display meter, providing accurate and reliable readings. Due to the linear output of the Hall element, the sensor offers excellent linearity, high measurement accuracy, and fine resolution, making it ideal for precise liquid level monitoring applications.

The magnetostrictive liquid level sensor consists of a transmitter, a sensor, and a float. Inside the transmitter housing (3), there is a circuit board bracket (8), a circuit board (22), an insulating board (28), and an upper end damping plate (29). These components are securely fastened together, with the steel string (15) passing through the middle of the upper end damping (16). The steel string is pressed against a piezoelectric ceramic (17), which is connected to the circuit board via a lead wire. The outer tube (6) of the sensor features an aluminum groove (7), through which the electrical pulse circuit lead (19) connects to the circuit board. At the lower end of the sensor, there is an insulating sleeve (12), a lower end damping (18), a steel string tensioning spring (11), and a steel string lower end fixed shaft (10). A float (23, 27) slides within the sensor’s outer tube, allowing it to move in response to the liquid level. This design offers advantages such as a simple manufacturing process, high production efficiency, stable performance, low cost, and improved product competitiveness.

The piezoelectric ceramic (17) is connected to the circuit board (22) via a lead wire. The upper end of the sensor outer tube (6) is sealed using a sealing mechanism (5) and a sealing ring (14), which connects it to the lower end of the transmitter housing (3). The outer tube (6) has an aluminum groove (7), through which the electric pulse circuit lead (19) connects to the circuit board (22). At the lower end of the outer tube (6), there is an insulating sleeve (12), along with a lower end damping (18), a steel string tensioning spring (11), and a steel string lower end fixed shaft (10). The steel string (15) is fixed to the lower end of the fixed shaft (10). A float ring (13) is attached to the lower end of the sensor outer tube (6), and floats (23, 27) are slidably connected to the outer tube.
