Introducing the GBS-40 Non-Excavation Pipe Laying Rig
The GBS-40 non-excavation pipe laying rig is a new milestone in our drilling technology, building upon the strong legacy of our previous models. It combines advanced engineering with user-friendly design, offering improved performance and aesthetics compared to earlier versions. This rig features a compact structure, powerful engine, and high-speed operation, making it highly efficient for various pipeline installation tasks.
Equipped with a wired steel crawler chassis, the rig can be remotely controlled via wired signals, ensuring safe and convenient movement on site. The control system is centralized within the cab, allowing operators to manage all functions easily and improving overall working conditions. Additionally, the rig includes a mechanically assisted drill pipe unloading system, which enhances operator comfort and reduces physical strain during long operations.
The power head is designed with dual speed settings, enabling the machine to adapt to different construction requirements—whether high-speed drilling or high-torque applications. This flexibility significantly boosts drilling efficiency and productivity.
Since its launch, the GBS-40 has already been deployed in several real-world projects. It successfully completed the installation of a 380-meter-long φ325mm steel pipe in Tanggu and a 150-meter φ529mm steel pipe in Tangshan, receiving positive feedback from clients. Based on field experiences, some improvements have been made to the latest models to further enhance performance and reliability.
