**Introduction to the GBS-40 Non-Excavation Pipe Laying Rig**
The GBS-40 non-excavation pipe laying rig represents a significant advancement in our line of drilling equipment. Building upon the strong reputation of our previous models, this rig delivers superior performance and a more refined design. The rig features a wired steel crawler chassis that is operated via a wired remote control system, making it easier and safer to move around the site. The control system is centralized within the cabin, allowing for intuitive operation and improving the overall working conditions for the operator. Additionally, the inclusion of a mechanically assisted upper unloading mechanism for drill pipes reflects a thoughtful, user-friendly design that reduces physical strain on workers.
The power head is equipped with dual-speed settings, enabling the rig to handle both high-speed drilling and high-torque applications effectively. This flexibility greatly enhances drilling efficiency and adaptability to different project requirements.
Since its launch, the GBS-40 has already been deployed on several construction sites, where it has successfully completed major pipeline installation tasks. For instance, it was used to lay a 380-meter-long φ325mm steel pipe in Tanggu and a 150-meter-long φ529mm steel pipe in Tangshan, both of which were well-received by clients. Feedback from these projects has also helped identify areas for improvement, which are now being incorporated into the next generation of rigs.
