Pinellia virus disease prevention and treatment methods: Pinellia virus disease occurs mostly in summer. For the whole plant disease , when the disease occurs, yellow irregular spots appear on the leaves, which make the leaves become mosaic symptoms, the leaves deform, shrink and curl until they die; the plants grow poorly, the underground roots are deformed and thin, and the texture is deteriorated. When a locust occurs, it is prone to occur. The disease can cause a large number of fresh stems to rot during the storage period and during transportation. After the Pinellia tuber is processed into commodities, the quality is often poor and the grade is low.

Pinellia virus disease prevention and treatment methods:

1 Select disease-free plants to keep seeds, avoid seeding from the affected areas and seeding, control artificial spread, and rotate.

2 Apply sufficient organic fertilizer, appropriate application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to enhance disease resistance; timely spray drugs to eliminate aphids and other poisonous insects.

3 After spraying, spray 40% dimethoate 2000 times solution or 80% dichlorvos 1500 times solution in the seedlings once every 5-7 days for 2-3 times.

4 The diseased plants were found, immediately removed, concentrated and burned deep, and the diseased holes were irrigated with 5% lime milk to prevent spread.

5 Apply tissue culture methods to culture non-toxic seedlings.
