Analysis of the development of China's sensor market

Sensor market demand is very large
The process of industrial modernization in China and the rapid growth of the electronic information industry at a rate of more than 20% have driven the rapid rise of the sensor market. In recent years, the application of sensors in medical, environmental, meteorological and other special electronic equipment has also grown rapidly, and the sensors used account for about 15% of the market. The large demand for sensors in the above industries provides a good development opportunity for the local sensor industry.
In the next five years, the average sales growth rate of the domestic sensor market will reach 31%. The main drivers of rapid growth in demand for local sensors come from industrial electronics and automotive electronics, communications electronics, consumer electronics and specialized electronic devices. Industrial electronics and automotive electronics are among the fastest growing industries in the electronic information industry, and are the areas where sensors are the most used, such as measuring various process variables, electronic and physical quantities, and traditional motion/positioning.
Higher requirements for sensors
With the development of major equipment manufacturing in China, higher requirements are placed on sensors. In semiconductor equipment, in addition to diversity, sensors require higher accuracy and response requirements; types include temperature, pressure, flow, and displacement.
In the case of semiconductor devices, the system needs to collect a large amount of real-time data. For some parameters, the response time is short enough, which has higher requirements on the sensor itself and the transmission distance. However, some sensors cannot meet this requirement by themselves; when integrated circuits and computer technologies are developing rapidly, people gradually realize that sensors have not kept up with the development of information technology, and in some occasions have become a bottleneck restricting high-tech such as information technology.
China's sensor development status
So far, China's sensor products have only 10 categories, 42 categories, more than 6,000 varieties, and there are still a large number of varieties. Due to the large gap between technology and production capacity and developed countries, the product technology is low in grade and the variety specifications are not complete. Domestic sensor products are far from meeting domestic demand, especially some high-end sensors, MEMS sensors, automotive sensors and special Supporting sensors, etc., these still rely mainly on imports. When it comes to the reasons why the level of domestic sensor development is far from that of foreign countries, I believe that the following problems mainly exist:
1. The technical foundation is weak, the research level is not high, and there is no independent intellectual property rights.
At present, many enterprises in China are citing foreign chip processing, and there are very few products independently researched and developed. The ability of independent innovation is very weak. Even many companies only stay at the level of foreign products, and the development space is stretched.
Domestic sensor companies have long relied on the development of foreign technology, and have formed a situation of “external strong and medium-sized” in technology. They have not only lost the market of high-end products, but also directly caused the problems of single product and homogenization of products that they can produce.
2. The existence of a large number of small enterprises makes the price competition of domestic sensors even more fierce in the field of low-end sensors; on the other hand, domestically produced sensors are bleak in the high, fine and sharp areas.
As sensors move toward industrialization more aggressively, the field and scope of sensor applications, including general-purpose sensors, will be further expanded. With the deepening of marketization and the improvement of customer procurement system, this will lead to the standardized development of China's sensor industry. The track provides a good opportunity.
3. The patent awareness is weak, which is a common problem in local enterprises.
The awareness of going abroad to participate in international market competition needs to be strengthened. The reasons are manifold: First, the lack of confidence; second, the certification threshold of other developed countries is very high, such as UL, TÃœV and other certifications. In many countries and regions, if they fail to obtain these certifications, they will not be able to enter their markets.
At present, sensor technology is developing towards smart, miniaturized, low-power, wireless transmission and portable. The domestic sensor market in China continues to grow at a high speed, and the gap means that there is room for development. However, in the face of such a tempting market, there are still many places where Chinese companies have to work hard.

Waterproof Safety Vest usually used by oxford polyester fabric with 300 or 150 denier pu or pvc coated. The sealing performance of this dress is very high (taped and heat sealed seams). This can effectively prevent water from entering the garment and keep wearer's body drying. Wearing this kind of safety vest, you can work well in the bad weather.
