4. Carefully add the resin into the tank, following the recommended quantity and ensuring even distribution.
5. Ensure that the central pipe and tank body are perfectly aligned and level. If not, the water quality may be affected, leading to improper filtration.
6. Install the controller on the unit according to the manufacturer's instructions.
There are four main operational steps:
1. Backwash (10 minutes): This process flushes out accumulated debris and restores the resin bed.
2. Brine Absorption and Slow Rinse (60 minutes): The resin is saturated with brine to regenerate its capacity, followed by a slow rinse to remove excess salt.
3. Brine Tank Filling (5–10 minutes): Water is drawn from the brine tank to prepare for the next cycle.
4. Final Rinse (10 minutes): A final rinse ensures that all residual brine is removed, guaranteeing clean and soft water output.
It’s important to follow each step carefully to maintain the efficiency and longevity of the system. Regular maintenance and proper installation will help ensure consistent performance and water quality over time.
