Low-slurry welding prevention technology for seamless line rail welded joint

1 Overview

With the large number of railway seamless lines laid, in the line maintenance process, based on the low-contamination safety hazard of the rail-welded joints, it has become one of the main reasons for the breakage of the welded joints of the seamless line rails, and it is difficult to maintain in daily line maintenance. Effective elimination of radical cures will seriously affect the high-speed and safe operation of railways.

Related researches show that the main reason for the low collapse of seamless track rail joints is that the hardness of welded joints is lower than the hardness of the base materials on both sides. Therefore, in the process of seamless line laying, the hardness of the welded joints of the rails is improved by post-weld heat treatment. Effectively avoid low-level hidden dangers. However, it has been proved by practice that the hardness of the welded joint area is improved, and the low collapse phenomenon is still obvious. The post-weld heat treatment measures are not really effective to eliminate the low collapse. It is urgent to find a new solution.
