To solve this problem, scientists added some chemical cross-linking agents to the gel, which prevented it from losing moisture.
In addition, since a large amount of alkaline phosphatase is produced during the growth of new bones, this enzyme can degrade the gel polymer using a chemical crosslinking agent. This also means that with the appearance of new bones in the human body, the polymer will eventually be degraded in the body, thus giving way to new bones.
