1. Appropriately increase the temperature of hot melt adhesive...

In winter, the ambient temperature is low, and the glue is cooled very quickly after coating, which causes the hot melt adhesive to cool and solidify rapidly. The decrease of the glue temperature directly affects the viscosity of the glue, the opening time and the wettability of the material, resulting in the final result. Poor bonding effect. Therefore, when using in winter, please increase the temperature of the hot melt rubber roller by 10-20 °C, and ask the operator to check whether the actual temperature and the set temperature are different to ensure that the temperature of the rubberizing roller reaches the required value. In addition, the amount of glue can be appropriately increased, so that the hot melt adhesive can reduce heat loss in a low temperature environment and maintain a good glue effect.

2. Precautions for substrate and edge sealing material

Usually, if the material stored in a low temperature environment is directly used for edge sealing or coating, too low temperature will cause the temperature of the hot melt adhesive to decrease too fast, seriously affecting the wettability, and ultimately the insufficient bonding, serious Will cause direct glue opening. So please ensure that the substrate storage environment temperature is above 15 °C. It is recommended to add auxiliary heating measures, such as hair dryers, heat lamps, etc., to improve the temperature of the material during edge sealing or coating to achieve a good bonding effect and ensure product quality. Please also note that in winter, please replace the edge banding or covering material with winter back coating to ensure the surface tension of the edge sealing material and ensure the effectiveness of the backing.

3, suitable ambient temperature

Please pay attention to the insulation of the production workshop, avoid placing the hot melt adhesive machine in a place where the air is quickly circulated, such as the doorway and the vent. Please try to ensure that the ambient temperature of the edge-sealing section is above 15 °C.

4, the tank temperature

Please keep the temperature of the glue tank (about 200 °C). If it is kept in continuous operation, ensure the effectiveness of the heating of the equipment. If necessary, increase the temperature of the tank to ensure that the glue is fully melted. If the sealing efficiency is low, or work The continuity is not strong. Please avoid using the temperature above 200 °C. If the glue does not flow under high temperature, it will decompose and destroy the internal quality of the glue. The long-term high temperature will promote the early aging of the hot melt adhesive. If you take a break, you can lower the temperature to 130-150 ° C, or keep the temperature in a warm state. If the machine is to be deactivated for a period of time, reduce the temperature of the tank to 30-40 °C to avoid the temperature change of the hot melt adhesive under heating for a long time.

5, timely cleaning the molten plastic tank

When the machine is used for a period of time, it is necessary to regularly clean the glue cans, glue tanks, etc. Please pay attention to the use of qualified and suitable cleaning oil (mineral oil). This can improve the heating efficiency of the equipment while reducing energy consumption, and is conducive to the normal melting of the glue and improve the quality of the edge banding.
