Oil-filled equipment that does not meet specifications, equipment failure, oil leakage, electrostatic discharge, and human error are the main causes of tanker fires. (1) Static grounding cannot be ignored. From the perspective of tank trucks, the main generating parts of static electricity are pumps, filters and pipes. The tanker filling system produces much more static electricity than the ground pipe. The relevant information reflects: If a pipe with a length of 250m and a diameter of 100mm is used to pump oil at a flow rate of 2500L/min, the amount of charge from the fueling gun is generally only, and the amount of charge after passing through the tanker is exceeded. It is produced in the filter of the tank truck, so if the tanker is not grounded, it can be loaded and unloaded, and the tank body can carry more than 10kV; therefore, for the hidden danger of static electricity, the following measures must be taken:

1 Connect the grounding wire before loading the oil, and check its integrity and grounding resistance to meet the anti-static standards.

2 When loading oil, the crane pipe must reach the bottom of the tank, the pipe mouth should be kept at about 15cm from the bottom of the tank, and the initial filling speed should be strictly controlled within 1m/s, until the oil outlet is immersed, then gradually increase the flow rate, but The maximum flow rate must not exceed 4.5m/s to prevent static accidents caused by splashing;

3 After the oil is loaded, the ground must be disconnected after 5 minutes of oil stabilization. Because the oil is in the tank after the oil is installed, the oil potential is kept for a few minutes.

(2) Do not relax your vigilance because of good grounding. Electrostatic grounding can only conduct static electricity on "conductors" (metals, human bodies, conductive liquids, etc.) that are closely connected to them, and to isolated conductors and non-conductors (oil, rubber, resin, glass, etc.) that are not connected to them. Static charge is powerless or difficult to guide in a short time; therefore, the operator should also strictly follow the operating procedures and pay attention to the hidden dangers that may occur at any time while electrostatic grounding, and at the same time grasp the emergency response to various emergencies. Measures and rescue measures.

(3) Prevent personal charges. In the loading and unloading operation, the human body must be in contact with the working object (tank truck) and the working object to generate friction, which is very likely to generate static electricity, and may form an electrostatic discharge. If this happens, it will encounter inflammable and explosive oil vapor. An explosion will occur. The operator must wear anti-static overalls and anti-static shoes during the operation, the purpose is to ground the human body. In addition,. The shoes should be thin nylon socks or other conductive socks. It is strictly forbidden to stick insulating film on the anti-static sole and should be checked regularly.

(4) Equipment that meets technical specifications and safety requirements must be used. The self-control, remote control, measuring instruments, valves and other equipment of the fuel station must be regularly inspected and calibrated, and the relevant management system should be formulated, especially the material of the oiling equipment should not be underestimated. It is strictly forbidden to use non-conductive polyethylene hose as the oil pipeline for the oil-filled crane pipe. It is strictly forbidden to use plastic containers when loading and unloading oil. These are the most basic safety common sense. At the same time, the electrostatic grounding device can not make do with it. It must be handled strictly according to the specifications, carefully installed and regularly inspected. For the current common use of clips and magnetic joints grounded, should not be pinched or adsorbed in the random parts of the tanker, even on the surface of the paint. This is extremely detrimental to anti-static, and it is a big hidden danger.

(5) The accident caused by “conversion of oil” should also be given enough attention. This kind of accident mainly occurs when the diesel tank is loaded with diesel. The flash point of gasoline is lower than that of diesel. If the diesel is injected into a tanker containing gasoline vapor, the gasoline vapor is absorbed by the diesel liquid being poured. The pressure is reduced, and the air is sucked into the tank car, and a flammable mixture is formed somewhere between the liquid surface and the air suction point, and an explosion accident occurs when the static electricity is accumulated and discharged. Therefore, when it is necessary to "convert the oil", the gasoline in the tank truck must be cleaned first, and the operation must be carried out in strict accordance with the operating procedures.
