Basic properties and application of Portland cement

A. Condensation hardening is fast, and the early strength and late strength are high. It is suitable for high-strength concrete and prestressed concrete engineering with early strength requirements, winter construction concrete, and important structures above and below ground.

B. It has good frost resistance and is suitable for concrete projects subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles in the range of water level rise and fall in severe cold regions.

C. The hydration heat is large and should not be used for mass concrete projects, but it can be used for low temperature season or winter construction.

D. Poor corrosion resistance, it is not suitable for projects that are often in contact with corrosive media such as flowing fresh water or sulfate, and is not suitable for projects that are often in contact with corrosive media such as seawater and mineral water.

E. Poor heat resistance, not suitable for concrete projects with heat resistance requirements.

F, good anti-carbonization performance, suitable for environments with high CO2 concentration in the air, such as foundry workshops.

G, dry reduction, can be used for concrete works in dry environments.

H, good wear resistance, can be used for pavement and ground engineering.

Such cements include various Portland cements that are not blended or blended with materials. China is divided into the following five categories according to the blending conditions of the mixed materials.

The specific surface area detection is actually a more time-consuming task. Due to the different adsorption capabilities of samples, the testing of some samples may take a whole day.
