Spraying gibberellin celery can increase production

Celery is widely cultivated in China. It is often used in the whole growth process to use gibberellin and brassinosteroids to help the celery grow well. In addition to this, there are various pesticide fungicides .

Celery spraying the plant growth regulator gibberellin solution can promote cell division and growth, and the absorption of nutrients by the cells reaches a peak 8 hours after spraying. According to the test, the optimal concentration of gibberellin to promote the growth of celery is 0.004% - 0.009%. During the normal growth of celery, the leaf surface can be sprayed 2 to 3 times every two weeks.

If the nutrient supply of celery plants is insufficient, the phenomenon of yellowing of leaves, stem cracking, and thin stems will occur after spraying gibberellin solution, which directly affects the yield and quality of celery. Therefore, spraying gibberellin should be combined with foliar spray fertilizer to supplement nutrients. The conventional formula for foliar application is 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate plus 0.03% borax plus 5% brown sugar.

Gibberellin is an acidic preparation and is prohibited from being mixed with an alkaline preparation. During the spraying, the soil is kept moist, the plants must be strong, and the rain should be avoided.

When spraying gibberellin, other pesticides can be mixed, such as carbendazim, epoxiconazole, ether oxystrobin, etc., which can well prevent the occurrence of various diseases of celery.
