Plaintiff Hu Mou complained that on August 4, 2002, he bought imported furniture marked with the logo of Da Vinci Furniture Co., Ltd. at a furniture store of a Beijing company for 395,000 yuan. After the alleged fraud of Da Vinci furniture was exposed by the media, Mr. Hu went home to check the purchased furniture, and found that the materials were not the materials promoted by the salesman, and the name of the goods and products in the sales agreement signed between Mr. Hu and the sales place. The names are all English numeric codes, and the actual origin, producer, use, performance, main ingredients, etc. of the product are not provided or marked in the entire sales agreement.
Mr. Hu believes that the furniture store claims that Da Vinci furniture was originally imported and the products are manufactured according to the national standards of the country of production, so he only bought his furniture at a high price. However, the store made false propaganda and statements on the products it operated and sold, which constituted fraud. Therefore, it requested the furniture store to return the payment and compensate for the loss.
The case will be heard in court recently.
