There is relevant data showing that the quantity of French company in plastic processing industry slightly increased by 0.8% year-on-year in 2013. Besides, the amount of companies starting business is a little greater than the number of bankrupt companies. From this point of view, the turnover of the industry will be slightly increased by 1% in 2014. INSEE carried out an overall assessment about French plastic processing industry: there are about 3800 companies in this industry, and the total turnover will approximately reach 2 billion Euros this year. However, it should be noted that only companies whose employees are not less than 20 are involved in the research, so the real number of the companies can be more, and the real turnover can be up to 3 billion Euros.
